Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. The Musical is a show based on a 1994 film. Both the film and the theatrical adaptation tell the story of two drag queens and a trans woman travelling across the country in an old bus – the eponymous Priscilla. Their journey to perform in a city “far from the highway” turns out to be a journey into their hearts. This explosive mixture of a road movie, queer themes and a musical is a story about how to look for and find oneself in a world that doesn’t make it easy.

The soundtrack of Priscilla is a compilation of hits such as “What’s Love Got to Do with It?” Tiny Turner, “Go West” by Village People, “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper or “Always on My Mind” by Elvis Presley.

The Capitol Musical Theatre has obtained a non-replica licence: we stage Priscilla with our costumes, sets and choreography. The audience watch the adventures of three characters in Polish reality.
